Are you loving yourself, first?⁠




The good, the bad and the ugly. We tend to our own worst critics and give our love away to others, in hope they return the same love in return. If this is you and it leaves you feeling yucky, negative and unfulfilled, you are probably loving yourself wrong. Why? You expect others to treat you how you treat them. It doesn't work that way. You can't control or demand others to make you happy. ⁠


You must learn how to love yourself, forgive yourself, educate yourself and heal thy self. You don't have to wait for anyone, you just have to show up for yourself. You, and only you know what past patterns keep occurring, where your energy flows in your present and what hopes and fears you may encounter in the future. You are an extremely powerful being of light! Light wants you to love all the aspects of your soul, even the good, the bad and the ugly parts. Love will set you free! ⁠

Here is a list of ways to begin the process of self love


  • Self Affirmations

  • Clean + Organize all of your environments; Auto, Work, Home, Sacred Space and etc

  • Rest and Relaxation with Bath Bombs, Soaks or Salts

  • Repeat the following mantra “I love and accept myself.”

  • Make a list of fun activities to do and post it on your fridge

  • Each night before bed write in your gratitude journal

  • Make a list of all the things you like about yourself

  • Start the day with two minutes of meditation

  • Treat Yourself to your favorite meal

  • Read a book

  • Do something for yourself without guilt, shame or fear

  • Set the mood while cooking — candles lit, music on and etc

  • Buy something you’ve always wanted

  • Practice the art of saying “no.”

  • Be of service to others — volunteer, help a friend, etc..

  • Compliment each person you see today

  • Get your sweat on & Shake your booty

  • Give yourself a massage with beautifully scented lotion

  • Try something new: dance classes, cooking lessons, yoga

  • Let go of comparison to others

  • Eat healthy by cleaning your fridge and fill it with fresh food.

  • Use soothing or invigorating essential oils like lavender and lemon

  • Write a love letter to your ex and burn it

  • Plan an adventure

  • Shut off your email and cellphone for an hour
